The University of South Carolina (USC)-Aiken recently named the following local students to its Dean’s List:

E’Va Benjamin of Bishopville whose major is business administration;

Erica Bradford of Lugoff whose major is biology;

Amanda Diehl of Lugoff whose major is nursing-R.N.;

Katlyn Jordan of Lugoff whose major is elementary education;

Joanna Mackey of Heath Springs whose major is exercise and sports science;

Amethyst Marroquin of Elgin whose major is sociology;

Mashylla Murphy of Cassatt whose major is nursing;

Morgan Schoolfield of Camden whose major is business administration;

Darius Smith of Rembert whose major is communication; and

Jeremy Stropes of Lugoff whose major is business administration.

USC-Aiken, a comprehensive university in the University of South Carolina system, offers undergraduate and master’s degrees to more than 3,500 students in 50 programs of study. USC Aiken is ranked the No. 11 public regional college in the South by U.S. News & World Report’s guide “America’s Best Colleges.” The 2019 distinction marks USC Aiken’s 21st consecutive ranking among the top three in this category and the 14th time in first place.
