USC Sumter has interest in local courses

The University of South Carolina Sumter is making a bid for Kershaw County students. During Tuesday’s Kershaw County Board of School Trustees meeting, an associate dean from the University of South Carolina Sumter and the president of Central Carolina Technical College (CCTC) made dual enrollment course presentations to the board. The proposals outlined why each school’s dual enrollment courses would be beneficial to local high school students.
