The Kershaw County School District will dedicate a walkway near Jackson School and honor two retiring school board members Tuesday. The first event -- the dedication of the walkway behind Jackson School -- will begin at 4:30 p.m. The land for the walkway was donated by former KCSD teacher Deloris Drakeford and her husband Paul Drakeford. Mrs. Drakeford began her career with KCSD as an instructional assistant in 1973 where she worked at Pine Tree Hill Elementary, Baron DeKalb Elementary and Camden Elementary.
