KC Mental Health orgs working to educate public
Mental Health Month

The city of Camden recently proclaimed May as Mental Health Awareness Month. In recognition of the month, mental health organizations in Kershaw County hosted events to educate the community about mental health and wellness. According to the Kershaw County Mental Health Clinic Director Michele Reeder, there is a stigma associated with people who struggle with mental health issues.
