On a night when the KershawHealth Board of Trustees was saying good-bye to three of its own and welcoming their replacements, trustees voted unanimously Monday to give a 2.25 percent across-the-board salary increase to employees beginning Oct. 1. There will also be a commensurate increase in benefits, representing a more than $1 million increase in employee compensation. Employees previously received a 1 percent raise in December 2012, received no raise in 2011, and received a 2 percent raise in December 2010.
