Most KershawHealth employees can expect a little more in their paycheck at the end of December, thanks to a 2 percent across-the-board raise enacted as part of the healthcare system’s Fiscal Year 2011 budget. The approximately $112 million budget was unanimously passed at the KershawHealth Board of Trustees meeting Sept. 27 and went into effect Friday. “The salary increase is to recognize that we have to stay competitive in the market,” said Trustee George Corbin.
