The S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) recently announced that a raccoon found near the intersection of U.S. 521 North and Clearwater Lake Road between Camden and Westville tested positive for rabies on Nov. 30. The raccoon was submitted for testing the previous day.
