Sandhills Medical Foundation (SMF) recently received a Quality Award from the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). SMF, a federally qualified community health center serving Chesterfield, Kershaw, Lancaster and Sumter counties with facilities in Camden, Lugoff, Jefferson, Kershaw, Sumter and McBee, received $59,538. The awards are part of $63.3 million in Affordable Healthcare Act funding recently awarded to health centers across the country.
