The town of Bethune has a full-time police chief again. Following an executive session at the end of Thursday night’s Bethune Town Council meeting, members voted unanimously to promote Bethune Police Chief Joey Cobb from part-time to full-time status. Council voted in August to give Cobb a $500 a year pay raise to $16,000.
