City seeks county's help with rec plan

The city of Camden has asked Kershaw County for financial support should a new recreation center be built in the city. County Council Chairman Gene Wise noted at Thursday’s work session that the county’s involvement was requested in a letter from Camden Mayor Jeffrey Graham. Wise said he informed Graham the county would have to engage in an impact study before officially getting involved.
