Kershaw County Council unanimously passed third and final reading of an amendment to the county tap fees and sewer impact fees ordinance on June 13. Specifically, the amendment requires that “Impact fees for new development(s), when RDUs (Residential Dwelling Units) requested do not exceed 125 RDUs, will become due and will be collected in full at the time a building permit is requested from the County, or if a building permit is not required, at the time an application is filed for a new connection to the County’s sewer system.” There were no other changes to the ordinance.
