County begins search for new economic development director

With former County Economic Development Director Peggy McLean starting her new job at the S.C. Department of Commerce this week, Kershaw County has launched its search for a replacement. Kershaw County Administrator Vic Carpenter, who is acting as interim economic development director, said while several people have expressed an interest in the position, no one has filled out an application.
