County council to reconsider budget
Placeholder Image
After voting unanimously last week to pass the third and final reading of the Fiscal Year 2015 budget, the Kershaw County Council has the budget on the agenda again for their meeting this Tuesday. The agenda is dominated by second readings of nine ordinances that would modify Zoning and Land Use Regulations, but the subject of the budget is the first agenda item listed. County Administrator Vic Carpenter was out of town as this report was written, but Kershaw County Council Clerk Merri Seigler explained some councilmen had requested the budget be placed back on the agenda for further amendments or modifications.
