Family farm placed under special easement
Farm owners William and Kat Wolfram (left and center) join Congaree Land Trust Protection Mary Crockett on their property north of Camden that is now under a conservation easement. Crockett is holding a sign that will be placed on the farm to show that it has been conserved.
More than 124 acres of historic farmland, located just outside the city of Camden, are now conserved, thanks to the collaborative efforts of the Congaree Land Trust (CLT) and the Wolfram family. Now under a conservation easement, the working farm permanently protects vital green space, air and water quality in Kershaw County, according to a CLT press release.
