Final reading of nuisance property ordinance before KCC
Placeholder Image
Kershaw County Council will give third reading and consideration for final approval for an ordinance addressing nuisance properties in the county. Kershaw County Council passed second reading during its April 11 meeting, although at least one councilmember and several citizens had concerns about the ordinance. The ordinance would authorize the county to abate rubbish, debris, junk and other materials that constitute a common public nuisance and affect the general health and welfare of the citizens of Kershaw County.
