First reading on sewer bond before KCC

Kershaw County Council will give first reading consideration to an ordinance providing for the issueance and sale of general obligation bonds, not to exceed $6.5 million, during its meeting tonight at the Kershaw County Government Center.The funds generated from the bonds will go toward infrastructure improvement project in the county’s sewer system. Council will also consider first reading of an ordinance authorizing the execution of the amended and restated intergovernmental agreement for use and maintenance of Central Carolina Technical College (CCTC) facilities. This amended agreement allows CCTC greater flexibility in use of the property, including the ability to sublease space formerly occupied by the Kershaw County Economic Development Office to the Kershaw County Chamber of Commerce.
