A group of Cantey Foundation Specialists working with Habitat for Humanity of Kershaw County stands outside the United Way of Kershaw Countys future Mobile Food Pantry. The specialists worked on the pantry on April 15, the same day two other groups of specialists put the finishing touches to two Habitat for Humanity for Kershaw County homes.
Habitat for Humanity of Kershaw County held its first Community Build Day on Friday, April 15 with the help of local business Cantey Foundation Specialists. Almost 50 employees took the day off to volunteer, which were separated into three separate groups that helped numerous Habitat for Humanity projects. One group went to the United Way of Kershaw County (UWKC) to help tear down and reinstall siding for its new Food Pantry.
