National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week starts Nov. 11. Kershaw County Council and the county’s municipalities have already passed and presented proclamations recognizing the week -- and those who are involved in it. That recognition is helpful and appreciated, United Way of Kershaw County (UWKC) president Donny Supplee said.“I think it is an important statement to make, that we as a community support the people in our community, regardless of circumstance,” Supplee said.
