Jessica’s legacy: Blue Pineapple Trophy honors new owner’s daughter
Blue Pineapple - Jessica
Jessica Ross’ graduation picture. Jessica died in an automobile crash on Feb. 7. Her parents, Christina and Greg Ross, recently took over Rainbow Trophies in Lugoff where Jessica planned to help out while waiting to go to either Clemson or Coastal Carolina universities to pursue an accounting degree. They renamed the business Blue Pineapple Trophy and Gifts in her honor based on her love of pineapples and the color blue. (Provided by Christina Ross)
On Feb. 5, 17-year-old Jessica Ross was riding in a vehicle on Three Branches Road in Lugoff when she saw another vehicle involved in a head-on crash. She got out of the vehicle she was in, went over to one of the cars and checked on an injured man.
