KCC to honor Boy Scouts
Scout Patch
State Rep. Laurie Slade Funderburk (second from right) is presented with a 2020 100th Anniversary Methodist Scout patch collection by Boy Scouts of America (BSA) Indian Waters Council Vice President of District Operations Jim Bradshaw (far right) on Feb. 9 at Lyttleton Street United Methodist Church. Joining them are Wateree Co-District Chairman Art Graham (left) and Troop 303 Committee Chairman Walter Smith. The county will honor BSA, Indian Waters Council and Bradshaw during its meeting today.
Among the several pieces of business on Kershaw County Council’s agenda today will be -- similarly to Camden City Council two weeks ago -- three proclamations honoring 100 years of scouting in the Methodist church and the 100th anniversary of the Indian Waters Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
