Following a nearly hour-long executive session during its meeting Tuesday evening, Kershaw County Council voted, 6-1, with Councilman Jimmy Jones voting against, to issue a new press release stating Kershaw County is joining other counties in calling for Prisma Health to “slow down the process” of acquiring KershawHealth, two Providence hospitals in Richland County and a Providence-owned emergency room in Fairfield County.
