KCC to give final read to solicitation and ordinance

Kershaw County Council will hold public hearing on and then consider third and final reading of an ordinance that would amend the soliciting ordinance for organizations who wish to solicit from motorists. Council will also consider first reading, in title only, of an ordinance allowing the county to abate rubbish, debris, junk and other materials that constitute a common public nuisance and affect the health and general welfare of the citizens of Kershaw County. Council will also discuss a proposed shell building at Heritage Pointe Industrial Park as well as a letter to the legislative delegation regarding mandates and funding.
