In a special called meeting Thursday, Kershaw County Council took action on two matters regarding the divisive Wildlife Road project. Council unanimously passed a motion to provide $445,000 for a freestanding concrete bridge at the site in northwestern Kershaw County near Lake Wateree. Councilman C.R. Miles Jr. recused himself from votes on the matter since he could be a potential supplier for the project.
