“Kershaw County is open for business.” That’s the message Kershaw County Council Chairman Julian Burns wants the world to know, as he, council and other county leaders look for ways to make the county more attractive to businesses who may be looking for a new home. Burns and Kershaw County Administrator Vic Carpenter spoke at the annual “State of the County” meeting Friday morning at the Kershaw County Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center in the Historic Robert Mills Courthouse.
