During Kershaw County Council’s July 13 meeting, Lynches River Electric Cooperative President and CEO Brian Broughton made a public presentation focused on the cooperative’s foray into high-speed broadband fiber internet service through its subsidiary, RiverNet Connect. The goal, Broughton said, is for the Pageland-based company to bring high-speed internet service to one of the most rural parts of the county.
