Marthers, KCCCC fight littering one road at a time
Litter - George Marthers
Kershaw County Litter Enforcement Office George Marthers gets ready to head out to various points around the community to inspect possible illegal dump sites and to check for trash along the county’s roads. Marthers’ work is being paid for through a $40,000 Palmetto Pride received by the Kershaw County Clean Community Commission. The commission’s spring county-wide pickup effort will take place on March 21. (Martin L. Cahn/C-I)
