Kershaw County Council will not consider any new ordinances regulating the use of firearms in unincorporated areas of the county, at least not in the near future. William Tetterton, chair of the county’s Firearms Discharge Advisory Committee, presented a report with that conclusion to council at its meeting Tuesday evening. Tetterton said the committee concluded there are already laws in place covering all the complaints it heard from the public during a series of meetings.
