On 5-1 vote, county council endorses VisionKershaw 2030

With a 5-1 vote during its March 8 meeting, a majority of Kershaw County Council endorsed the final draft of the VisionKershaw 2030 report. Presented by Heritage Bank Vice President Dennis Stuber, a member of the core group working on the vision document, and Santee-Lynches Council of Governments Economic and Community Sustainability Director Kyle Kelly, VisionKershaw 2030 lays out the framework for economic growth; effective land use; county service excellence; quality infrastructure and transportation; and a lifetime of education, health, culture and recreation for the next 14 years. “VisionKershaw 2030 is a community-wide vision.
