Kershaw County Council will have a number of items to consider during tonight’s meeting at the Kershaw County Government Center. Council will hear information from County Administrator Vic Carpenter regarding a request made by Sheriff Jim Matthews during council’s Aug. 24 meeting to purchase an additional three patrol vehicles. The reason for this request is because the Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office now has some 39 vehicles that will have more than 100,000 miles on them by the end of 2018.
