The Kershaw County Planning and Zoning Department recently launched a new online portal that helps citizens more easily navigate the sometimes confusing world of planning and zoning issues. Now contractors, builders and private citizens can conduct much of the business they used to have to do at the planning and zoning office online. It’s all part of a major overhaul in how planning and zoning conducts business, Planning and Zoning Director Michael Conley reported to Kershaw County Council during its July 10 meeting.
