Kershaw County’s PLAY Foundation -- whose mission is to improve the quality of life in the county while enhancing social and physical development of county youth -- is seeking to have the county named an “All-American City.” To that end, PLAY is hosing two town hall meetings, both at 5:15 p.m., on Thursday, May 18 and Monday, May 22, in the large meeting room of the Kershaw County School District Annex, 2209 West DeKalb St. in Camden. Despite the title, the award is handed out to 10 communities nationwide, including counties.
