The Santee-Lynches Regional Council of Governments (S-LRCOG) is currently developing the region’s next Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP), which is used to identify and prioritize transportation investments throughout the region. The S-LRCOG transportation plan includes all or part of Kershaw, Clarendon, Lee and Sumter counties. As the region and its population changes, transportation facilities must evolve to meet those changes needs, the S-LRCOG said in a press release.
