United Way of Kershaw County’s newest men’s shelter is nearing completion thanks to the help of volunteers and the donations of furniture and household items from community members.. United Way of Kershaw County President Donny Supplee said volunteers have contributed most of the labor needed to go to get the house in shape for the four men to move in. Supplee said it was estimated the house would need approximately $20,000 to $30,000 in repairs and work.
