Kershaw County Council voted unanimously Tuesday to move an amendment regarding cell towers, antennas and fall zones back to the Kershaw County Planning and Zoning Commission. Council originally considered third and final reading of the amendment Sept. 24, but Chairman Gene Wise tabled it at that time following both public and council members’ comments expressing concern about how close together cell phone towers might be in the future. Council did not discuss the amendment further at Tuesday’s meeting and only voted to send it back to the planning and zoning commission.
