Tucker ‘wear-masks-during meetings’ resolution passes 4-3

Kershaw County Council passed a resolution proposed by Councilman Sammie Tucker Jr. during its meeting Tuesday evening requiring that all present during council meetings wear a mask or other face covering to slow the spread of the COVID-19 novel coronavirus. It was not a unanimous vote, but a 4-3 split, with councilmen Russell Brazell, Ben Connell and Jimmy Jones voting against the resolution.
