Prior to interviews Thursday evening with three finalists for the county administrator’s post, Kershaw County Council (KCC) added two more candidates to the pool. KCC Chairman Gene Wise said that before beginning the interviews, council discussed the interview process in executive session and returned to open session to make the decision to talk with two additional candidates. Those are Leonard B. Sossamon, former administrator for Newberry County and former city manager for Concord, N.C., and Cecil Kimrey, current Marlboro County administrator and former town administrator for Pageland.
