The United Way of Kershaw County (UWKC) recently announced it has a fifth location for its monthly food pantry distribution. The UWKC’s Mobile Nutrition Center first began distributing a little more than a year ago to three sites in the county with the goal of obtaining five sites.

The Mobile Nutrition Center distributes food to Cassatt, Elgin, Mt. Pisgah, Knights Hill and, now, Westville, UWKC officials said in a press release.

It will celebrate the opening of the Westville location on Tuesday, March 19 at Belmont Baptist Church, 65 Payne Pond Road from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The celebration will begin at 11 a.m., followed by lunch.

“Please join us as we celebrate and thank the many individuals, foundations and companies that have helped make this possible,” UWKC officials said in the release.
