VisionKershaw 2030 earns SCAC honorable mention

VisionKershaw 2030, Kershaw County’s county-wide framework for economic growth; effective land use; county service excellence; quality infrastructure and transportation; and a lifetime of education, health, culture and recreation, received an honorable mention at the S.C. Association of Counties’ (SCAC) 50th annual conference, held July 29 - Aug. 2. According to a SCAC press release, Kershaw County won the honorable mention as part of the SCAC’s 2017 J. Mitchell Graham/Barrett Lawrimore Memorial Awards Competition, held during the conference. It won the honorable mention for the J. Mitchell Graham Memorial Award for counties with a population of 50,000 to 150,000.
