Elgin Toy Roundup underway
Elgin Christmas Tree
A Christmas tree is surrounding by various toys, dolls and other gifts along with a line-up of bicycles from a previous Elgin Police Department Toy Roundup. This year’s roundup, along with work by the Caring Hands Foundation with help from several Elgin-area schools, is going on now. Donations of gifts and money are being accepted through Monday, December 14.
The Elgin Police Department Toy Roundup and Caring Hands Foundation, along with Blaney Elementary School, Doby’s Mill Elementary School, and Stover Middle School’s Tigers Take Time to Care (TTTC) project, are currently accepting donations/contributions for the upcoming Christmas holiday season. According to TTTC Coordinator Kim Stokes, the need is even greater in the midst of the pandemic.
