Chambers returns to homeport

U.S. Navy Seaman Apprentice Janie E. Chambers, daughter of Naomi Chambers of Camden and Harry Chambers, of Camden, alongside approximately 5, 500 Sailors attached to USS George H. W. Bush (CVN 77) recently returned to their Norfolk, Va., homeport. CVN 77, has completed a seven months deployment supporting combat operations in the U.S. 5th and 6th Fleet area of responsibilities (AOR) and was relieved by the USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74). While in the Mediterranean Sea, George H.W. Bush conducted a full range of maritime operations and theater security cooperation efforts in concert with coalition, joint, interagency and other partners to improve operational proficiency, and maintain maritime safety and security.
