The Kershaw County Sheriff’s Foundation (KCSF), along with members of Leonard Price’s family, awarded the 2018 “Leonard Price Friend of Law Enforcement Award” posthumously to Bill Heil of Lugoff at a recent meeting of Larry Jeffers American Legion Post No. 195 where Heil was a member. “Bill Heil faithfully served our nation, our state and our local community,” KCSF Chair Steve Zobel said in a press release.
