Most local residents know that Dr. Shane Robbins is the new superintendent of the Kershaw County School District (KCSD), but they may not realize that he also has a new title: Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve. Robbins received his promotion soon after starting his position in the Kershaw County School District in early July but had his official promotion ceremony on Oct. 20. “It is a privilege to be able to share this milestone in my military career with my new community,” Robbins said.
