Bethune trying to deal with stray cats

A number of citizens in the town of Bethune are trying to deal with a stray cat problem, according to minutes of Bethune Town Council’s Jan. 10 meeting. Resident Diane Graham spoke to council that evening, stating she had talked with Kershaw County Animal Control (KCAC) and was told they would work with the town on the problem. Graham said she would set up a meeting with KCAC and any interested parties for instructions on how to set and maintain traps along with the necessary steps to be taken once a cat has been caught.
