Folline Vision Center is observing the 20th anniversary of its store in Springdale Plaza. The center was remodeled in 2008 and recently welcomed Dr. Lloyd Nethercutt to its team, enabling increased hours of optometric services. The local Folline team also includes (from left) Amanda Moore, optician and manager; and Hilda Fleming and Carah Randall, opthalmic technicians.
Folline Vision Center is celebrating 20 years of eye care service in Kershaw County this year. The business opened in Springdale Plaza in May 1990 to provide a location closer than Columbia to serve DuPont employees and also operated an on-site office at DuPont to fit safety classes. The store was completely remodeled in December 2008, using furnishings of Danish Modern design and allowing maximum visibility of the hundreds of frame styles the store has on display, said Folline Vision Center’s Jack Folline.
