HFKC to accept grant applications beginning Sept. 1

The Health Foundation of Kershaw County (HFKC) will begin accepting applications for grants beginning September 1. The application process will close on September 30.

Selected grants will be awarded to 501(c)(3) organizations that demonstrate a positive impact on the overall healthcare of the residents of Kershaw County. Grants will be awarded Dec. 2 at Historic Camden Revolutionary War Site.

Last year, the HFKC distributed nine grants totaling nearly $182,000. Past recipients have included the Family Resource Center, Christian Communities Ministries, Camden Fire Department, SC Thrive, United Way of Kershaw County, Food for the Soul, Kershaw County School District, and other worthy health initiatives in Kershaw County.

Qualified organizations wishing to seek funding and an application should submit an email inquiry to healthfoundationofkershawco@gmail.com.

Again, the application period will open September 1 and close September 30.
