Mary Chesnut's lost photos to be topic

The search for the long-lost photo albums of Civil War diarist and Camden resident Mary Boykin Chesnu, will be the topic of the Kershaw County Historical Society’s winter program Sunday. The program will begin at 3 p.m. in the family life center at Lyttleton Street United Methodist Church, Camden. Guest speaker Marty Daniels will tell the story of her family’s search and recovery of Chesnut’s lost Civil War photograph albums and her work with archivist Barbara McCarthy at Mulberry Plantation to identify and research some 200 images collected by Chesnut.
