Hop down the Bunny trail with The ALPHA Center in Chesterfield

The ALPHA Behavioral Health Center will hold its first ever 5K Bunny Run/Walk to raise awareness of and celebrate recovery for individuals who have struggled with substance abuse and addiction.

The ALPHA Center, headquartered in Camden, operates in Chesterfield County and as The Lee Center in Lee County. The Center will hold the event in Chesterfield on Saturday, March 26, starting at the corner of Crescent Drive and Magnolia Terrace.

The entire family is invited to participate in what it hopes will be a fun-filled morning. Participants area also invited to head uptown after the event for the “EggNormous Easter Egg Hunt and KidsFest” sponsored by the Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce.

“The chamber has a fun event planned, including food, games, music and prizes,” ALPHA Center officials said, adding more information about the KidsFest is available at www.chesterfieldchamberofcommerce.com.

Chip timing and T-shirts will be included in the 5K Bunny Run/Walk’s $25 registration fee. Early packet pickup is available Friday, March 25 at The ALPHA Center in either Camden or Chesterfield between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Race day packet pickup is also available one hour before the race.
