Since announcing plans for the Meyer-Thiel Adoption Center last fall, the Kershaw County Humane Society has raised $1.7 million towards the capital campaign. “We have been overwhelmed by the financial and moral support we have received from the community” Joanne Schwartz, Vice President of the Kershaw County Humane Society (KCHS) said. Funding so far has allowed the Humane Society to move forward with its design plans and work with engineers and architects.
