The Kershaw County School District (KCSD) recently received the United Way of Kershaw County’s (UWKC) highest volunteer award for its exemplary volunteer service to the citizens of Kershaw County. KCSD is only the third organization to win the Jake Watson Award in its 26-year history. UWKC President Donny Supplee said that the award recognizes lifelong commitment and selfless service to the United Way and community.
