Sir Jefferson, the Blue Knight of Concord -- a member of the Knights of the Guild-East -- prepares for a jousting demonstration at the S.C. Equine Center outside of Camden Feb. 9 during the S.C. Horseman’s Council Expo. Other Knights of the Guild-East include the Red Knight, Sir Troy; Green Knight, Sir David; and the Pink Knight, Lady Kayleigh. Based in Concord, N.C., the group delivers an “Early Act FirstKnight” character education program for schools throughout the Carolinas.
